The Writing Center provides graduate students with writing support — including feedback suggestions for improved writing and reading strategies, and editorial recommendations — during face-to-face sessions with Academic Writing Program instructors. The trained consultants offer either one-on-one or small-group consulting sessions to provide support through any stage of the writing process in order to help build on a writer’s strengths and address any particular challenges in writing skills. We gladly collaborate with any graduate student; however, we do not write or edit the paper for the student.

We offer writing help for all academic projects in all disciplines, such as response and term papers, theses and dissertations, application letters (for fellowships, graduate schools, and internships), abstracts and papers for conferences, grant proposals, publications, and cover letters.
